Create this magnifying glass effect

Clean Magnifying Glass Effect — Step-By-Step tutorial

1. Import & Place the PNG

• Drop your magnifying glass PNG on the timeline.
  
  

• Position it where you want the zoom to appear.
  
  

2. Create Adjustment Layer

• Add an Adjustment Layer below the magnifying glass PNG.
  
  

3. Apply Magnify Effect

• Select the Adjustment Layer → Apply Magnify.
  
  

• Adjust Magnification + Size to your liking.
  
  

4. Link Magnify Center

• Pick-whip the Magnify Center to the Position of your magnifying glass PNG.
  
  

• Now the zoom perfectly follows the glass wherever you move it.
  
  

5. Apply Bulge Effect

• On the same Adjustment Layer, apply Bulge.
  
  

• Increase the Radius and Height for that clean glass distortion.
  
  

6. Link Bulge Center

• Pick-whip the Bulge Center to the Position of your magnifying glass PNG as well.
  
  

7. Animate the Glass

• Add keyframes to the PNG’s Position.
  
  

• Move it across the frame to create the magnifying motion.
  
  

8. Done!

You now have a clean, smooth magnifying glass effect.
